There may not be a U.S. Open in Wisconsin this summer, but there are plenty of reasons to head north of the border and tee it up.

So bring your sticks and get ready for a great golf season ahead in the summer of 2018.

The Kettle Loop is new at Erin Hills in Erin Wisconsin, where the pro’s andtop amateurs are gone and you are on the tee box.

At Erin Hills there isn’t always time for a full round of 18 holes so why not play five holes and call it a day, before heading into your overnight room or the pub.

Hole 1-starts at a new tee by the lodge. Hole-2 is a 223 yard long par 3, or short par 4, you pick. Hole-3 From a Black tee it’s 476 yard of risk-reward par 5. Hole-4 is played from a new tee in the right rough of the actual fifth hole, and the hole plays as mid range par 3 hole. Hole-5 is played from the Blue tee and is a 208 yard par 3, to the 6th green,when your done get something special at Erin Hills, A RIDE, back into the Erin Hills Irish Pub.   MCQ’s Dome is open for golf on this chili day. While Sentry World prepares for opening day on May 4th, when it’s not so chili outside.

SENTRY WORLD in Stevens Point will open for the year in early May. There are a series of events planned for the season ahead, including several Callaway fitting events for new clubs, learn more at Sentryworld.com.

  Welcome to Sand Valley Golf Resort (L). The 16th and 17th green at the SandBox, the new par 3 course at Sand Valley that opens on May 1st.

The Sandbox created by Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw will open all holes on May 1st, after having six holes open for preview play last fall. Sand Valley is increasing it’s dining area experience and it’s practice area’s in 2018, stay tuned for all that’s planned at Sand Valley. There is no announcement yet on who might design the resorts third 18 hole golf course.
