The folks at Erin Hills want to thank everyone for a wonderful and very special 2017. As the home of this years U.S. Open heads into a year for the first time in over a decade where there is no USGA event to plan for, they focus even more on you the guest, the golfer, the person who loves the great game of golf. The U.S. Open saw over 5,200 volunteers to work the event, and over 200,000 fans who showed up to be there in person. The golfers who played Erin Hills in 2017, waited until after July 1st to do it.
This year Erin Hills will open for public play on May 7th, and there are several new enhancements to the facility. Those improvements will be discussed closer to opening day. Erin Hills is now taking tee times and overnight lodging requests for 2018.
