The Wisconsin golf season is has begun,
yesterday Kohler Company announced that
two of it’s four Pete Dye design courses are
now open for 2014.
First up was the Meadow Valley Course at
the Blackwolf Run golf complex section, of
the Five-Star and Five Diamond resort. Then
the Irish Course over at Whistling Straits
was then opened as well.

The dates to open the River Course at
Blackwolf Run, and Whistling Straits
are not set yet. The resort is “hoping”
for late this month, but there is still no
official date yet.

The golf season at Erin Hills Golf Club
is set to open on May 30th. You can call
now to make tee times and reservations
for overnight stays.
THE ERIN HILLS PRO SHOP WITH US-AM TROPHY
Prime dates are filling quickly. Currently
you can from May 30th to June 7th, and
from October 12th to 26th, play one round
at the regular rate and spend the night at
Erin Hills, and you enjoy a complimentary
round the next day. Rates start at $363.
From June 8th to October 11th, play one
round of golf, stay the night and play the
next day for only $125. Rates on this golf
package start at $488.
The course is walking only and caddies
are not required but recommended. The
base caddie fee is $50 per bag, and the
suggested gratuity rate is $45. All of the

ROBERT TRENT JONES JR. AND THE SENTRY WORLD ROUTING
Architect Robert Trent Jones Jr. has done
a renovation of the Sentry World Golf Club
in Stevens Point Wisconsin.
The course will reopen for play in August
of this summer. Stay tuned for details over
the next few months about opening day.
