There is a new tournament coming to Cog Hill in Lemont. Unfortunately it’s not the U.S. Open or another PGA Tour event, but instead it’s the first annual Cog Hill Amateur.

Mark your calendar now for May 21-22 in 2016. Yes just over 3 months away.

The entry fee is $175.00 per player, and it includes the following.

Two rounds of championship golf with cart. A Cog Hill Tee Gift, a warm up bucket prior to each round. The Top 25 in the Championship Flight and the Top 3 in the Consolation Flight will receive a payout. The payouts will be issued in Golf Shop Credit. Their are reduced rated for practice rounds.

THE FORMAT:

The event is open to amateur golfers. There will be one round on Course 2 from the Black Tees, and One Round on Course 4 (Dubs) from the Blue Tees.

After 36 holes are completed, the top 72 will form a championship flight, while the rest of the field will make up the consolation flight. This new championship is open to the first 100 applicants who sigh up.
