Mistwood owner Jim McWethy (left) tells the Gog Blog that the end is near for the original Mistwood Clubhouse. McWethy is hoping to start demolition of the old building by Mid-August. The pro-shop and the offices will move into the learning center until the new clubhouse opens in late May or June of 2015. The new clubhouse will be in two parts but will be connected underground. Building one will have the pro shop and offices, while the other part of the clubhouse will have the the restaurant and space for banquets or conferences. Sentry World in Stevens Point Wisconsin is making progress towards the reopening of the golf course. Work is proceeding at full speed, and the famed ” Flower Hole” has been replanted. The new main building is taking shape and the golf course and practice area’s are coming along nicely. The operation will be hiring 75 employees. More details as they become available.
