Cottage Row at Pinehurst #8-golf views from your room.

Pinehurst Resort President Tom Pashley said a couple of years ago, “the resort needs rooms that have views of our golf courses, currently we don’t have any.”

Pashley was correct, but that was then and this is now. So Pinehurst is in the process of correcting that issue.

Welcome to the new subdivision in the middle of the Pinehurst #8 golf course. Cottage row all nine of them are under construction, with the first five units being open for business on May 1st. The four remaining units will open later this year. Calvin Burkley Pinehurst’s Director of Projects and Planning after a long run at Firestone Country Club, says the other units will be open by October 1st. Burkley ad’s that the huge putting green in the center of the cottages, will need some grow in time. So it won’t be ready until the fall.

Construction is full speed ahead on the new Pinehurst 8 cottages.

The cottages in some cases hold up to 16 guests, which is why the new lodging option is geared towards groups.
