Artist Linda Hartough brings her golf art work to Metaverse.

Renowned golf landscape artist Linda Hartough has announced a release of her artwork and NFT collection to the Golf Landscape NFT collection late this year.

“I am excited to bring my artwork to the metaverse and Web 3,” said Hartough. ” So with the recent success of NFT’s in golf and art, I feel that now is a great time to move forward with the release of my own NFT collection.”

HARTOUGH IS PARTNERING with NFT Golf Shop and LYNQZ, a specialized WEB 3 consultancy firm. So they have created her collection of NFL golf art. Hertough is the only artist commissioned by the USGA and R & A to do the annual painting and prints for the U.S. Open and Open Championship. THE AGT SERIES returns to Mistwood Golf Club in Romeoville, on September 11th.

The field is limited to 30 teams, with a $350.00 per team entrance fee.

But there is also optional skins at $25.00 per player.

AGT is the fastest growing series of 2-Player FourBall tournaments, and are fun to play. The estimated tournament purse is $3,000.But qualifying teams are invited to the national championship December 9-11 at the Streamsong Resort in Florida. So see more details at AGT Series or Mistwoodgc.com.

CDGA.org Evanston Golf Club hosts the CDGA Mid-Amateur this week on Monday and Tuesday.

THE CDGA will operate the 30th Mid-Amateur Championship this Monday and Tuesday at the Evanston Golf Club.

Evanston is an old Donald Ross classic golf course.

The championship is played over 54 holes, and starts with 36 holes on Monday. But only the low 35 players and ties will advance to the final 18 holes on Tuesday.

2021 champion Larry Blatt is not in the field this year, and has started a career in professional golf. So for more details and information-results and more see CDGA.org.

The Men’s team at the University of Illinois has a great history under Coach Mike Small. Which is on display at the Atkins Course at the U of I.

THE UNIVERSITY of ILLINOIS men’s golf team has announced it’s season schedule, which begins September 16-18 at the Illinois Invitational at Olympia Fields. Coach Mike Small is excited about the season, where his entire team returns for another season.

The Illini have three more tournaments in the fall season, before taking time off around the holidays.

After Olympia Fields Illinois will play at the Folds of Honor golf course in Grand Haven Michigan, followed by the University of Dayton Invitational at NCR Country Club. The final fall event is in Florida at the Isleworth Collegiate October 23-25. But for a full schedule see Fightingillini.com.
