The White Eagle Golf Club in Naperville, will host the 2022 Illinois Open this week August 1-2-3.

THE ILLINOIS OPEN will tee off this coming Monday at the White Eagle Golf Club in Naperville.

Defending champion T-K Kelly is now playing on the Korn Ferry Tour, and is not in the field.

So this years event is wide open. 2020 Illinois Open Champion Bryce Emory, who won at White Eagle is ready to make it two in a row on the Arnold Palmer design.

Emory has played on the Korn Ferry Tour this year, but takes the week off to try and defend at White Eagle. Emory will play with host professional Curtis Malm a past champion of the Illinois Open during his amateur days. So Malm did not get a paycheck, he would like to win it again in front of his home membership.

University of Illinois men’s golf coach Mike Small, is again looking to win his fifth title and ties the record set by Illinois PGA Hall of Fame inductee Garry Pinns.

Mistwood Golf Club professionals Andy Mickelson the reigning IPGA Section Champion, and long hitting Frank Hohenadel are expected to content. Skokie teaching professional Garrett Chaussard who has played great golf the last few years in IPGA section majors, will be in the hunt.

BUT THE ILLINOIS PGA SECTION has announced that if you can’t make it out to the golf course, there will be live streaming of the action on several holes. IPGA has teamed up with Naperville Community TV, and Scientel Solutions to provide the streaming feed.

So to learn more visit IPGA.com for details and see the connecting links to the broadcast. Tee times begin in the 7 Am hour on Monday. Those players who make the 36-hole cut, will play the final round on Wednesday. But for more information see IPGA.com.
