THE NEW CALLWAY JAWS MD Wedges are now available, for purchase in your favorite pro shop or golf retail store.

If your not sure which wedges are for you, you can try the Callaway Golf online fitting program, or go hit them and get a fitting in person.

In the photo’s above, you can see the difference’s in design from the MD-4 Mack Daddy Wedge, to the new MD-5 JAWS wedges.

Callaway says the new JAWS design marks a breakthrough in wedge design and performance. That designer Roger Cleveland and his R&D team have built a new JAWS Groove, that takes spin and control to the next level. In the end, it’s a new wedge that allows golfers a high performance level.

What JAWS has, is a striking finish, premium shaping, versatility and exceptional spin. They can be purchased now.

The JAWS groove is enhanced to a new level of sharpness, that creates maximum grip and spin from alltypes of lies. JAWS comes with the Callaway Groove-in-Groove Technology. Micro-Positive grooves are placed in what Callaway calls the flat parts of the face for added surface roughness and grip. Three raised micro-ridges are featured between each groove, adding grip to the balls cover on each shot for more spin.

The JAWS Groove is the tighest tolerances that Callaway has ever created, and that promotes a consistent spin rate from, shot-to-shot.

“The spin you get from the JAWS Groove is remarkable,” said Cleveland. “From the control thatyou get around the greens, with all of that spin, and a lower launch angle, it’s designed to deliver an incredible level of performance for every player.”

The JAWS wedges come in five different grind options, S-Grind, W-Grind, an updated C-Grind, X-Grind, and a new low-bounce version of the W-Grind, that resulted from tour player input for increased versatility around the green, while still using the sole’s full bounce on full swings.

JAWS comes in two finishes, Platinum Chrome and Tour Grey. Stock shafts include True Temper 115 in steel, and the Project X Catalyst 80 in graphite, with Lampkin UTX Grips. Those can be personalized through Callaway Customs, with 10 color zones. A women’s line is now available. Cost $159.00 each, details at Callwaygolf.com.
