IT’S TIME FOR JUNIOR GOLF to take the main stage this week. Along with the Women’s KPMG Championship, that will be played at Hazeltine Golf Club, in Chaska Minnesota. First in Minnesota, Ireland’s Leona Maguire has accepted a sponsor’s exemption to compete at this weeks championship.
ON THE JUNIOR CIRCUIT.. The 93rd Women’s Western Amateur Championship tee’s off from the Woodland Country Club in Carmel Indiana, with practice rounds today. 78 players are in the field for this years championship, including defending champion Janice Kim. Past champions include Nancy Lopez a three-time winner from 1972-74.
The 102nd Western Junior Championship begins on Tuesday
AT RICH HARVEST FARMS in Sugrar Grove. Practice Rounds start for the 102nd Western Junior Golf Championships tomorrow. First round tee times start at 7 AM on Tuesday and Wednesday. After the first 36 holes, the field gets cut to the low 44 players and ties. The players who make the cut, will play 36 holes on Thursday to determine this years champion.

Come see the future stars of the PGA Tour this week. Several current PGA Tour players are past champions of this championship. Rich Havrest Farms will play host to the Big Ten Championships in 2020.
