The new upscale rooms and suites will be near the casino entrance, and the rooms will be able to connect for larger groups.

The French Lick Resort is expected to begin work at some point after the room project is complete, on the resorts 9-hole Valley Links Course. The current nine holes would be renovated and 9 more holes will get added, up on a hill to left of holes 2-3. No official word yet if the work will start in 2020.
