It’s week #19 and the golf season is moving right along, and Golfers on Golf Radio is teeing it up on the 19th hole this morning.

We have some special guests lined up for this week. Including one golfer moving on to the U.S. Senior Amateur after a great round of under par golf at Rich Harvest Farms.

This week the Illinois PGA Section Championship at Stonewall Orchard golf club in Grayslake tee’s off on Monday morning. Illinois Golf Coach and defending champion Mike Small goes for his 11th section title.

Joining us will be River Forest head professional Chris Gumbach who is the Illinois PGA Section President, he’ll talk the golf industry the Illinois PGA Section and this weeks section championship.

Dennis Johnsen the head golf professional at Pine Meadow Golf Club in Mundelein, drops in for our last segment. Pine Meadow is made a great comeback from the conditioning issues the course faced 3 and 4 seasons back.

CONGRATS to our radio partner Ed Stevenson and everyone at the Dupage County Forest Preserve District, on the approval vote by the board to support the Oak Meadows renovation project. Work is expected to to begin in the fall of 2015.
