This Monday the WWGA 117th National Amateur Championship will commence at the River Forest Country Club in Elmhurst.

A field of over 100 women will play for the W.A. Alexander Cup. The finalist wins the Babe Didrikson Zaharis Trophy, the medalist wins the Margaret Lenz trophy,

Play starts on Munday June 12th with the first round of qualifying. The championship flight a 36 hole final is Saturday June 17th.

The River Forest Country Club will be set up at a par of 72, and will play to a yardage of 6,328.

Kate Lillie won the 2016 WWGA junior championship, and now moves up to the WWGA Amateur Championship. More information can be found at WWGA.org.
