The Illinois Golf Hall of Fame has lowed the field of candidates for the Class of 2017, from 28 as I wrote earlier today.

However the field that is normally 10 finalists, will be 12 this year due to some ties for the 10th position.

The date for the final vote has also been changed from May 10th, to May 23rd.

The list of finalists is expected to be released at some point next week. The Gog Blog will have an update when that information becomes available.
