Rich Harvest Farms Owner Jerry Rich has been the driving force behind the International Crown. Rich Harvest Farms will host the matches in 2016.

THE RICH REPORT: Right here on the Gog Blog.

On Tuesday Jery Rich arrived in Baltimore to see the fruits of his hard work for over three and half years. It’s a week he has been waiting for, for a long time. On Tuesday night right before the International Crown’s gala dinner in downtown Baltimore, I spoke with Rich about the week that is starting to unfold and Caves Valley the host club for the matches.

“It’s kinda cool,” said Rich about Caves Valley. “The clubhouse is very nice and there are places where you get some nice views of several holes from around the golf course.”

Rich will join LPGA Commissioner Michael Whan and LPGA Player Lindsey Wright from Australia in a 12:06 (EST) tee time on Wednesday for the pro-am. But he is more excited to see this week and this event finally tee off.

“I am excited,” said Rich. ” 3 1/2 years of work coming together. There is lots of energy here, and the girls are very excited about having a chance to play for their countries.”

Rich will be on site here at Caves Valley for a few days before returning home to attend a watch party in Hoffman Estates on Saturday.

Rich was hoping to announce a title sponsor this week for 2016, but at this time he is not sure if that will happen or not. But it still could, stay clicked in.

The next segment of the Rich Report will be back on Wednesday after the completion of the pro-am. We will hear from some of the players as well.
