The golf industry is gearing up for the 2016 PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando that is now less than two weeks away. The gas golf cart fleet is being maintained, the grass and greens are being kept immaculate, and the excitement for the event grows.

KSM has been selected to manage the Homestead Golf and Country Club in Leyden Washington, part of a 400 home community since 1993. This Homestead Club is not connected with the historic Homestead in Virginia or the Homestead property located in Michigan.

The club has an 18 hole golf course and is near the U.S. and Canadian border.

CHAMBERS BAY managed by KSM is reporting a changing in the demographic of the golfers coming to play the 2015 U.S. Open site. In 2014 Chambers Bay had golfers from 12 states and Canada. In 2015 those numbers jumped to 45 states and 13 countries. The USGA recently announced the economic impact in the area during open week was $134 million. It’s now believed that the U.S Open will return to Chambers Bay at some point after 2024.
