From the Editor:

I’m sad to report that as November rolls in, that beautiful time of the year to play golf is fading away. The temps are dropping and some courses are getting ready to close before the snow hits, which unfortunately is likely just a couple of weeks away.

The Good news is that there does appear to be a few outdoor days left where the mercury will hit into the 60 degrees range. That is more than enough to still get outside and hit the little white ball around, unless you play another colored golf ball.

Indoor Golf Dome season is sneaking up on us, and MCQ’s Dome in Bollingbrook has opened for golf as of today. Owner Jim McWethy is proud to report that his new clubhouse at Mistwood in Romeoville is open for the golfers to check in today. McWethy’s Pub for daily dinning starts on Wednesday. Call (815)-254-3333 for details on golf at Mistwood until the course closes, or dining in the new McWethy’s Pub.
