After the match Danielson spoke about Knapp, who played very good and might have been motivated according to Danielson, since Illinois knocked out Knapp’s UCLA Bruins in the 2015 NCAA National Championships back in May.

In addition Danielson talked about the upcoming U.S. Amateur at Olympia Fields, and his hopes to be part of the U.S. Walker Cup Team this September. Danielson says he thinks he will turn professional after his senior season at Illinois.
