During last Fridays PGA Championship media day at Whistling Straits in Haven/Kohler Wisconsin, Rory McIlroy was not the only story on the property. One of the other people that always makes golf events on Kohler properties so enjoyable is none other than Herb Kohler himself.

After the media briefing with McIlroy, I stayed around to interview Mr. Kohler and did so 1 on 1. As always he was open and thoughtful with his comments on golf, another PGA, what might be next in the line of big tournaments after the 2020 Ryder Cup that will be played at Whistling Straits, and the new proposed fifth golf course for Kohler Golf that is in the planning and permitting phase.

Click here to hear the interview with Herb Kohler about the upcoming PGA Championship and more.
