Golfers on Golf Radio welcomes back to the show, Mr. Jerry Rich owner of Rich Harvest Farms in Sugar Grove, the home of this weeks Palmer Cup Matches.
Mr. Rich will have all the details about this weeks event. You will learn about the coaches players and more. The progression starts this week at Rich Harvest Farms, we will have some details about the Western Amateur coming to Rich Harvest Farms this August, and the UL LPGA International Crown coming in July 2016. It’s a big 13 months coming in Sugar Grove.
John Hosteland the General Manager at the Kemper Lakes, joins us to talk about his clubs plans to “Restore the Roar”.
It’s now been some 26 years since Payne Stewart won his first major at Kemper Lakes, and club is now ready to get back into the tournament business.
A recent bunker renovation program by architect Rick Jacobson has the club looking great. A tree removal program and the addition of several tee’s will bring the clubs back tee yardage from 7,217 up to 7,500+. Kemper Lakes on the comeback trail.
A published report says that Medinah could be a front runner for the 2019 BMW Championship, when the event would return from Aronimink near Philadelphia where it will be played in 2018.
Golfers on Golf Radio will discuss this possibility of the BMW Championship moving away from the North Shore area of Lake Forest and Conway Farms for 2019.
NORTH CAROLINA and the OUTER BANKS area are in fine shape this time of year, and some great golf in the area is waiting for you to make your tee-time today. Starting with Nags Head Golf Links on the south-end of the strip and the Carolina Club on the north-side, and several stops in between golfers have plenty of places to pick from.
Some of the other courses include the Currituck Club, the Kilmarlic Club, the Pointe Golf Club and Duck Woods Country Club. These courses are located just minutes off the Atlantic Ocean.

COG HILL has brought back Family Golf for another season. It is now on Saturday and Sunday nights starting at 6 PM. Cost is just $10 and includes a cart. All groups must have a child of 12 or under to be part of the family promotion.
DEMO DAY at COG HILL will be June 20th from 10 AM to 3 PM. Among the companies that will be participating are Callaway, Nike, TaylorMade, and Ping. Club fitting will be available.
