The Glen Club, Home of the Illinois Golf Hall of Fame

The results are in for the 2015 Class of the Illinois Golf Hall of Fame.

From the list of the ten finalists there was only three people lected into the hall.

H. Chandler Egan a course designer and past Western Amateur Champion.

Leon McNair a long time head golf professional at Fox Bend Golf Course in Oswego, very active in charity work since his retirement from the golf course.

Jim Sobb the longtime head golf professional at the Ivanhoe Club. Sobb has been one of the best professionals on the golf course with his record in Illinois PGA Section tournaments. Sobb was awarded the IPGA Senior Masters award in 2012.

Rory was one of the initial members of WSCR all-sports radio Chicago and covered golf there for 5 seasons, before moving on to work for ESPN/Sportsticker and ESPN Radio.
