The Mistwood Golf Club in Romeoville will open for the season tomorrow on April 16th. The Mistwood Performance Center opened for season last Thursday on April 9th.

Superintendent Ben Kelnhofer has put Mistwood in perfect condition to start the 2015 golf season. if you play tomorrow you can enjoy the course with not a divot out of place.

Mistwood will still ask you to “Pardon Our Dust ” as the final phase of the renovation project is still ongoing. Phase three is the renovation and construction of the new clubhouse. At Mistwood, owner Jim McWethy is making sure, it’s out with the old and in with the new.

The new clubhouse is coming along and is still looking at a late summer opening. You can follow it’s progress on the Mistwood website at mistwoodgc.com. The live webcam is up and running.

So are you ready to test your game at Mistwood, Kelpies Corner that is the closest thing that any Illinois golf course has to a more famous corner is awaiting your tee shots. Did you bring enough golf balls.

Mistwood will host the Phil Kosin Illinois Women’s Open from July 27th to the 29th.
