Architect and Evans Scholar Ray Hearn a member of the American Society Golf Course Architects (ASGCA) whose courses in Illinois include Flossmoor GC, home of the 2023 Illinois Open and 2023 USGA Senior Open qualifier, Mistwood GC, home of the Phil Kosin Illinois Women’s Open, Midlothian home of the 2023 WGA Junior Championship.
Hearn’s renovations at two courses out east and in Panama, have or will host Korn Ferry Tour events this year.
TIM CRONIN of the Illinois Golfer and the Director of the Selection Committee for the Illinois Golf Hall of Fame.
Cronin joins us at 10:10 to discuss this years Hall of Fame process for the Class of 2023, now underway.
Cronin will discuss how many candidates there are for this years class. But then how many will be left standing after the first cut. The Illinois Golf HOF located at the Glen Club.
