The Gog Blog’s Sunday Morning Short Game is back for another week.

THE FINAL ROUND of the NV5 Invitational is today at The Glen Club.

Northbrook’s very own Nick Hardy, putted from the fringe of the 18th green in round 3, and sunk a 22 foot putt for eagle.

That leaves Hardy tied for the lead and in the final group today.

Hardy is joined by other players with local ties today. Patrick Flavin of Highwood, Vince India of Deerfield, Brad Hopfinger of Lake Forest.

Former University of Illinois golf team members playing today at The Glen Club include Dylan Meyer, Michael Feagles and Luke Guthrie. So come out and see all the action in the final round of the NV5 Invitational.

Cantigny Golf hosts the next Kemper Cup 2-person scramble on June 8th.

NOW IN YEAR TWO, The Two-Person Scramble created by KemperSports and the Chicago District Golf Association (CDGA) is back again. The Kemper Cup has been created to help produce interest in the game and attract new players. So a series of qualifiers has been set up at KemperSports properties. So can you earn a berth into the finals at Harborside International on September 14th.

THE NEXT QAULIFIER is June 8th at Cantigny Golf. Handicaps range from +2.7 all the way to the to max of 36. More than 500 have signed up so far, 311 are first time participants. The ladies are signing up as well, female participation is up over 150%. But get all the details at CDGA.org/2scramble.
