In 2021 over 3,500 players from all 50 states came to play. But with Covid issues fading, it’s expected that more golfers will play.

“We can’t wait to welcome people to the 2022, Play Golf Myrtle Beach World Amateur Handicap Championship,” said tournament director Scott Tomasello. “Because the energy surrounding the game has continued to grow. The returning of international players will bring even more excitement to what we believe will be the best World Amateur to date.”
