I didn’t know what to think, when I went to the Addison based miha bodytec facility earlier this week.

So was it just another golf training method ? But no it wasn’t. I came away surprised in not only what I saw, but what I experienced.

I worked with Sales/Marketing and training specialist Jacki Berardi. Berardi is a former NCAA Division I golfer at the University of Dayton. But I was later joined by MIHA company CEO Brian Dillman. Dillman previously worked in golf with Wilson Sports, before joining miha bodytec.

Soon after arriving. I headed into the locker-room to change into the work out suit.

Workouts are conducted with a trainer and the suit does get wetted down. It’s worn in a tight manner to your body. So it does feel like you are getting dressed for a deep-sea dive.

But you won’t need any Scuba-tanks for air. Once all parts of the suits are attached, and you are buckled-in, you are then attached to the machine.

But then the funs starts. Because it’s one of the most amazing workouts you will ever experience. The stimulation I felt in my legs and my back, eased me right through the workout. I would not have had any issues playing golf later that afternoon. Or the next day. But it was what I needed to recover from the side effects of my Covid booster shot.

Miha is electric stimulation that moves you forward in your body training. But while most people might think it’s for recovery from injury, MIHA is not.

The Miha program takes electric stimulation to a new level. Because it opens the process into a new frontier. With the MIHA process, you can put a week worth of workouts into less that 30 minutes. How is that for those of you with a tight time schedule.

Miha comes to America from Munich Germany, where it began in 2007. It was the creation of founding CEO Jurgen Decker.

SO WHAT IS EMS:

Electro Muscle Stimulation (EMS) activates your body by mimicking signals from the brain. That would normally be sent to the muscles to contract, during exercise.

During the EMS work out. Your muscles don’t determine whether the signal is coming from your brain, or a Miha bodytec device. So while working through your session, impulses activate over 98% of the muscles in your major muscle groups. It gives an 85% contraction rate per-second, as compared to 1-2 contractions per second in just one muscle group. Something you would feel during traditional strength training. EMS training sessions are efficient and safe.
