BACK AT AGAIN for another week, of bringing golfers Chicago’s most complete weekly news update, for Chicago and beyond.

This week Len Ziehm of LenZiehmongolf.com and Rory Spears of Golfersongolf.com wrap up Jon Rahm’s exciting win at Torrey Pines on U.S. Open Sunday.

A great leaderboard, that was as good as it could be. But there is more. Because it’s tournament week here in Chicago. The 101st Chicago District Golf Association (CDGA) Amateur.

BUT the Western Golf Association (WGA) and the WWGA have the boys and girls junior tournaments here this week.

Len and Rory discuss who new USGA CEO and Executive Director Michael Whan’s architect of choice will be as courses scramble to land USGA events. More great golf this week with the Women’s KPMG PGA Championship at the Atlanta Athletic Club, and the Senior Players Championship at Firestone Country Club in Ohio.
