WHO IS CHAD JOHANSEN ?

Chad is the General Manager of Blackberry Oaks Golf Club in Bristol Illinois. He is also the head golf professional.

But over the years he has been much more than just golf professional. He has been a golf product inventor, a crusader for junior golf, and finds ways to make the average amateur golfer better, so they can enjoy the game of golf, and have some fun along the way.

You could say that Johansen is having fun along the way as well. He never stops coming up with the next way to make people better golfers. Johansen looks at ways to make the kids have more fun at the golf course. #KidsRule is his slogan, and that has helped build one the Chicago area’s largest and best junior golf programs. Johansen has been nominated several times for Illinois PGA Section Teacher of the Year, the only thing that is curious here, is that he hasn’t won the award. That should change.
