THE EVANS SCHOLARS INVITATIONAL has been Postponed (NOT CANCELED) for 2020, due to the COVID-19 Virus. The original dates were May 20-24.

“We’re working with the TOUR and the Glen Club on rescheduling the event for later in the year,” said Vince Pellegrino, WGA senior vice president of tournaments. “We’re disappointed that we won’t be able to conduct the Evans Scholars Invitational in May. However our first priority remains the health and safety of the players, fans, sponsors, volunteers and everyone in the local community.”

The Corona Virus has now forced cancellation of nine Korn-Ferry Tour events, and the postponement of three more, including the ESI.

Pellegrino added that the WGA is looking forward to holding the tournament at a later date, but won’t do so until government and health officials agree it is safe to do so.
