DSC05291 Doug and Jordan Spieth DS

PGA Tour PR Rep Doug Milne (L) with Jordan Spieth (R) at the BMW Championship at Conway Farms.

Jordan Spieth was the third player in the interview room today at Conway Farms.

Jason Day and Jerry Kelly were the first two players in. But when the week is over, Spieth doesn’t plan to be #3, he says he is ready to go and his game is in a good place.

When asked about equipment changes that might have led to him missing the cut in the first two Fed Ex Cup events of the series, Spieth said his equipment is not a problem, he just had a couple of bad weeks. Something he does not expect this week, as he tried to get some Fed Ex Cup points that he says he needs.

For tickets see BMWChampionship.com first round play begins at 11:20 on Thursday. Pro-Am tomorrow with Bill Murray in the field. Should be fun.
