Arnold Palmer speaks at the Palmer Cup Opening Ceremonies

The Matches are here, it’s the Palmer Cup, and Arnold Palmer the King himself was on hand to speak at the opening ceremonies yesterday at Rich Harvest Farms.

The opening matches tee off this morning starting at 7:30 Am, there are six groups and the last match goes at 8:30.

After the morning session is complete, the teams break for lunch and tee off again around 12:30 to 1 PM. There are two different formats, Foursomes and Fourballs.

Prior to the opening ceremonies, both coaches spoke with the Gog Blog. Team USA Coach Bruce Heppler first,and then Team Europe Coach Jean Van deVelde. Click above to hear our interviews with the coaches.
