         NOW OPEN for business.

AFTER 20 months Settlers Hill has reopened for business.

Golfers can now enjoy the renovation work doing by architect Greg Martin and the Wadsworth construction team.

Settlers Hill has made several changes during the renovation. The hole numbers are one-off from before. Such as the old #2, is now #1, and so forth around the golf course.

Architect Greg Martin tours media members around Settlers Hill in the summer of 2021.

Martin rebuilt two of the par-3 holes and moved them. But the par-5 17th hole, now number 16, had it’s tee boxes moved up on top of the main hill.

So the tee shot drops almost 100 feet from tee box to the fairway. It’s the highest elevation place in Kane County.

There are other improvements to Settlers Hill. The property now has a driving range, and a short game area.

But there will also be a new clubhouse, which won’t likely be open until next year. The old clubhouse won’t be torn down, but will be used for banquets, and junior golf activities.

Currently the golf course is still hiring if you want to work at a golf course. Learn more about Settlers Hill at Settlershill.com.
